An aluminum composite panel is a type of flat panel that is composed of laminating two thin panels of aluminum on either side of an extruded core of thermoplastic polyethylene material or class 1 fire resistant mineral filled core under continuous and integrated co-extrusion process.
Aluminum composite panels are frequently used by architects and designers mainly as external cladding for facade, insulations and signage. They are usually pre-manufactured and bent into their final shape at the building site and are ideal for milling patterns which enable difficult bending in curves and even complex shapes.
